What We oFFER

Rehearsal space
The barn provides a large comfortable room ideal for music rehearsals, lessons or writing sessions. It’s equipped with PA system, mic stands, piano, and drums, and is available to hire for afternoons, evenings or full days. As we prefer to work with a small number of artists, on a regular basis, we offer discount for regular bookers.

Recording services
We’ve recorded many artists down at the barn, and over the years we’ve learned all the best mic positions, tips, tricks and techniques. We have a 16-track mixing desk, a wide range of recording mics, valve preamps, and a comprehensive digital audio workstation. While we may not have all the capabilities of the leading recording studios, we do get great results quickly – perfect for self-release, demos or pre-production work.

Other Facilities
The main band room has a comfortable seating area at one end to relax in, and next door we have a small kitchen, with fridge, kettle and microwave, and a toilet. Entrance to the farm is via a private driveway, with security gate access, and we have a few parking spaces directly outside the door to the barn.
Special arrangements due to the Covid 19 pandemic:
We undertake regular Covid 19 risk assessments, taking into account government advice and local controls and conditions, and we’ll update this section as necessary.
As we won’t be in attendance when you are there at the barn, it is important that you read and abide by these arrangements and take responsibility for your own actions. We’ll do what we can, and thank you for doing the same.
- We’ll regularly clean the barn and all surfaces, handles, switches etc.
- We’ll provide antibacterial gels, wipes and handwashes for use by all customers. We expect you to use them on the way in and out as a minimum.
- We’ll provide signage and notices on site to help remind you of things you need to think about and do to help keep you and other people safe.
- We’ll keep a record of the contact information of people who have booked the barn, to help with track and trace should it be required.
- We ask you to stay at home if you or anyone in your household have any symptoms of, or have recently tested positive for, Covid 19.
- The numbers and mix of people that you bring must allow you to comply with the latest government and local authority social distancing rules.
- At the moment unfortunately we’re unable to provide shared equipment such as mics, drumsticks guitars, amps etc, so at this time you’ll need to bring and then take away all your own gear.
